Haqeer has the abovementioned two meanings and the explanations of these meanings are given hereinbelow:

Abominable means
1. Unequivocally detestable; loathsome: abominable treatment of prisoners.
2. Thoroughly unpleasant or disagreeable: abominable weather.





Wretch means

A miserable, unfortunate, or unhappy person.
2. A person regarded as base, mean, or despicable

I don't think it will be advisable to name someone as Haqeer :0)

  -> Thanks for your comments.Since this term has negative or derogatory meanings,I don't think that such word exists as a name.However, I guess Haqeer can be used as a male name and HaqeerA as a female name on this analogy -Tahir(M)>TahirA(F)/Asif(M)>AsifA(F)

neutral  ainfaz: Yes i agree to the meaning but it isnt the answer to my question I asked whether this word will be used in this same way when used for the feminine sex or will it change and if it will change what will be the right term to be used???
