Greetings,

Amoor-i-ama is a term used in the (English language) book I am reading for the Ahmadiyya Community Centre in Pakistan.

Please, how do you write it in Urdu, and what is its word-for-word meaning?

Explanation:
Ammor mans business, transaction, affairs, matters, questions etc. and Aama means= ordinary, Tiny, small, relating to day to day business. So it means Ordinary/tiny/Usual matters of the life.

In Ammor-i-ama, "i" is called azafat in Urdu langauge and it literally it means "Of"...As the Usual matter "Of" the day...Here of in inverted commas is the translation of "i"

Aama here may also means, the ordinary people or the masses..So it can also be translated as the day to day matters of the people. So please pick the appropriate according to the context.

Explanation:
Amoor means matter, affairs. Aa'ma means general, pertaining to public/people. The reference of 'i or e betweent he two words connotes 'of' 'belonging to'.
Therefore Amoor e Aa'ma may be translated in English as General Affairs. The term is used in the specific Ahmadiyya Community for a department that deals with matters of internal/general affairs.
