Vietnamese term or phrase: xet nghiem soi tuoi tren nuoc tieu

I have a translation which has no tones, so I am having some difficulty with the VN terms. I know it is "test/examination of ... in the urine" but I am not sure about "soi tuoi".

Even if you can only give me the correct Vietnamese spelling, that will be a help.

Asker: Thanks Linh, but "on-stage" is not appropriate in medical English for this context. You are correct about urinalysis though.

Explanation:
Minh Tran is right: it is soi tươi (not " soi tuoi " )

" xét nghiệm soi tươi " usually involved microscopic examination of the specimen. The specimen in this case is urine. In order to do a microscopic examination, the specimen has to be freshly obtained, then usually mixed in saline buffer for preservation and "wet-mounted" for analysis.

"wet-mount" means the specimen is freshly mounted on a microscopic slide for examination under a microscope. In other word, it is similar to " real time" analysis ==> what you see is what you get, live and well ( usually the doctor tries to detect Candida or other yeast infections, live under the microscope ).

You may also say : "wetmount examination of urine specimen", but I prefer adding " microscopic " to be precise because "soi tươi" does involve microscopy observation and analysis.
