Lake pavilion

Thu?y Ta. is a very common mis-spelling of Thu?y To.a which literally means "sits on the water" in ancient Chinese. It's an adjective but is now more commonly used to incidate any structure built in or on a lake, strictly used for those pleasures of shooting the breeze in the hot summer. The most famous "Thu?y Ta." is now a coffee shop by the Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi, frequented by both backpackers and locals alike. Go down Hang Gai str., turn left and it will be found at the beginning of the western bank of this lake.

Hope this helps
