I just noticed that my two favourite ‘comparers’ seem to be dead, or dying.
It seems Phras.in (http://phras.in/ ) has been hacked or something, as it no longer works, and the page is full of garbage.

Websource.it (http://www.websource.it/ ) is no longer online.
So only Google Fight (http://www.googlefight.co.uk/ ) remains. What do you use when you want to compare how often two phrases are used online?

I wasn't aware of any of them, so thanks for the link to the 3rd one....it's probably worth trying. My method has usually been to just manually search both terms. This one seems more efficient.

The cool thing about Google Battle (which is what I liked about the now dead Phras.in and Websource.it) is that it also provides you with links to the actual searches). Will definitely be adding this one to my Chrome bookmarks!

I too follow the general practice of making two separate google searches and then comparing the hit figures. I didn't know there were special websites on which this can be done. I have book marked the third link. Thank you for bringing it to my notice.
