In "raising an objection" at that stage the debtor just needs to put a cross on a form, not provide justification.

I agree it would be risky strategy on the debtor's part and I'm glad to hear that the Mahnantrag tends to be successful.

Well, in my case the "Mahnantrag" was not, but as it does not cost much, I'd do it again. If you call a court in Germany though they tell you the "Mahnantrag" nearly always is successfull.
