I tried to analyse 8 word-documents before the translation and Workbench (6.5.5)cannot analyse them. OLE/COM-error (error 50202). One of the document is very big 18 MB. I tried to save the documents as rtf and to analyse them. It runs for all the documents but not for the big document. Could anyone help?

KB Article 1377 Sep 14, 2005

Hi,
Have you looked at KB article 1377? There's a link to a Microsoft KB article explaining how to shrink the size of RTF files.

Link to Trados support not working Apr 18, 2008

Hej Ralf,

I have the same problem with a file here: when I try to analyse it, I get that OLE/COM. So I clicked on the link you offered, but the page has expired, apparently...

Help!

New KB Apr 20, 2008

Hi Yaiza,
The link is indeed outdated, as SDL Trados have launched a new Knowledge Base. Just search for the error number there.

Best regards,
Ralf
