Opening Marolli CD-Rom

Hello,
I have just set up a new PC with Vista and Office 2007 Professional. I now cannot open my beloved Marolli CD-Rom Technical Dictionary IT-EN/EN-IT 13th edition. Is it that the CD is just too old or should I be opening it differently?

Have you tried to clean up the CD by a piece of wet cloth or napkin?

Hi,

I'm no expert on this, but it looks like you need a patch (or whatever is called) to be able to run your CDs on the new OS. Similar problems were discussed, if I remember correctly, in the Italian forum some time ago (dictionaries on CD-rom not running after updating the operating system).
You can try searching in the Italian forum or posting a thread there.
I'd contact Hoepli and ask for support and/or the patch (updating file).

I contacted Hoepli after making my post this morning and they have replied to say their CDs are not compatible with Vista but are working on an update.
