Thanks for your message Tetyana. I'll leave it up to you to throw out some ideas since I don't know Sanremo very well. I'll be coming in from Nice, either on train or by car if others plan to come from across the border (carpool)... Looking forward to discovering the town with some locals! Oh, BTW, my Italian is very rusty, I hope you don't mind a Franco-American (i.e. English or French speaking only) tagging along!

Don't worry, I speak both, English and French. I've been living in France for 4 years... Moreover as we are all polyglots here there will also be for sure other people speaking French or/and English.

I went to a nice restaurant in the old town called the Camelot the last time I was in Sanremo, but I'm sure you know a lot more places.
