Au plaisir de se rencontrer au Jardin Nelson dans le Vieux-Montréal pour souper vers 18h. Ensuite nous nous promènerons dans ce beau quartier historique pour finir au Deux Pierrots !

Let's meet at the Jardin Nelson in Vieux-Montreal for supper at 6 p.m., and then later we'll stroll through the historic area and catch the show at the Deux Pierrots!
Our plans have firmed up, our Dutch guest is already in Western Canada, we are meeting as planned above. Now I'll need some numbers to make the reservation. Could you please indicate your availability on July 3? Thank you, and see you soon! I can't wait!
I agree with ZetieZ that Old Montreal is not a very appropriate place... Could we consider a less crowded area, a little cafe somewhere in the Plateau or something like that?
Hmm... I love Old Montreal though I would not call it an urban "garden" specially in July... full of tourists... There might be more interesting place... I mean as garden and more relaxing. I guess I could talk to you later on about this. Salut!
Bonne idée - c'est sûr que les activités de départ et de clôture ne sont pas tellement propices aux échanges, mais espérons qu'il fera beau et que l'on pourra se promener dans le vieux port entre les deux!

"Urban garden" was inspired by the terrace of the resto selected. I went for Old Montreal to show off this part of town to our visitor from Holland. However I don't live in Montreal and am unaware of the jewels the great city has to offer Please suggest another venue, keeping in mind s.v.p. that out-of-towners rely on public transportation, and that some of us are vegetarian. Thank you for your help! - Nancy

Yes, it was the picture on their website that sealed the deal for me the menu is nicely varied, too, something for everyone. Have you ever been there?

I have been told that Jardin Nelson is one of the best (and most expensive) restaurants in old Montreal. But, since you can only eat outside, bring some sunscreen.

Manger sur une terrasse au mois de juillet, bien sûr! Je connais la plus belle... à Montréal... et ce n'est pas la +++ chère qui ne rime pas nécessairement avec + agréable et surtout meilleure...
