Now, I am focused entirely on translation, which allows me to experience a constant growth in the business and continuous development of my skills. My major aim is to keep customers satisfied by ensuring a top quality service for a very competitive price. And I have never missed a deadline in my life... Examples of translation projects completed within the last 5 year period: I. English into Polish: 1/ economic/legal (Terms and Conditions for a travel agency - several projects with the same client; privacy policies; power of attorneys; and more...), 2/ business/HR (training materials and manuals for an international training company; 360 degree assessment materials; employee satisfaction questionnaires; and many more...), 3/ education/medical (ca 70% of the content of the syllabus of a medical school – approximately 60,000 words/200 pages; brochures related to health protection and child care; and more...), 4/ education (localisation of a financial website for students allowing online payments; leaflets related to developing reading skills; content of a language online course website; and more...), 5/ real estate (newsletters and other materials of several housing associations), 6/ essay writing (a collection of essays regarding cultural & social issues - ca 150 pages), 7/ other (short texts for periodicals regarding cultural & social issues; terms & phrases related to an entertainment website). II. Polish into English: 1/ HR/paralegal (HR Intranet page of a renowned international company), 2/ certificate/legal (certificates regarding social welfare and health benefits), 3/ other (a 14-page text regarding history of a scientific society). III. French into Polish: 1/ HR (a 1-page Curriculum Vitae). My areas of expertise are mainly business-related issues. I am focused on issues related to Human Resources, such as employment contracts, employee guidebooks, and training materials; however, I am also eager to translate advertising leaflets, business contracts, F&A documents and texts about economy. Besides, I am also interested in, and quite comfortable with, humanities and social science (art, literature, education etc.). Issues related to medicine are also among my special interests; however, lack of formal education and expertise within this field and a sense of responsibility prevent me from expressing interest in medical translations other than magazine tips on how to stay fit and look 30 while you are 50. On the other hand, I am not, and will probably never be, a technical translator. Several years ago, I completed my BA studies in Business Management, specializing in HRM. In July 2006 I completed BA studies in English Philology, specializing in Translation.
