My job included: translation and interpreting in close contact with all company departments, from sales to production; handling contacts with foreign customers (Cooper Standard, Michelin, Pirelli (foreign branches), etc. I had the opportunity to personally see how extruders, roll mills, mixers, presses, etc. were built, under the mechanical, electrical and electronic point of view. I was directly involved with after-sale service (i.e. troubleshooting procedures) as well as marketing. - Freelance translator for Italian and overseas agencies. From 1992 to 1996: In-house translator for an Italian translation agency (Language Service). Translation of manuals and technical texts. Supervision, co-ordination and organisation of translation projects (in-house and out-sourced).
