Malta: Selected to begin collaboration in EU translation projects concerning patents and trademarks, as translator from Spanish, Italian, Maltese and French into English and from Maltese into Spanish. In the meantime, I continue working for companies and Universities across Europe as a translator and proof-reader into English.

Due to several years of experience as a computer programmer, the translation of software documentation is one of my strongest areas. I am also familiar with localisation, and take great interest in electronic language support. Throughout the past ten years I have developed programs to assist in language learning, glossary management, concordance building, dictionary compilation, and the study of poetry.

I have a very academic style of composition, being highly concerned with correctness, coherence and clarity of communication both written and spoken, whichever the language may be.


I translate mainly into English, although in early 2005 I also began translating into the Maltese language at a professional level.

I attended school in both England and Malta, and University in England, Italy and Spain. Whilst working full-time as a freelance translator, I am currently in the process of drafting a PhD thesis in Medieval Literature.
