I moved to the U.S.A. in 1985, after graduation, where I started my translating career. I also enjoyed teaching German and Italian to diplomats members of the US Government. My love for foreign languages led me to learn Spanish and French as well, in addition to having just a taste of Russian and Finnish. My main activity, though, was and still is, translating. After coming back to Italy in 1988, I have worked long-distance with Italian and foreign agencies. I have gained expertise mainly in the medical, pharmaceutical, legal, patent, commercial, financial, marketing, art, computer science and technical fields.
My start off as a translator took place in the USA in 1985, where I lived for three years. After coming back to Italy, I worked as a technical writer, translator and coordinator of the translators' team at Olivetti. My free-lance, ongoing working experience has been dotted with cooperation opportunities offered by various firms, mainly in the automotive and mechanical fields, where professional level knowledge of English, German, French and Spanish were requested. |
