My name is Ghislaine Giebels and I am a freelance translator from English into Dutch and German into Dutch. I am specialized in business translations in the food industry. I studied Food Science and Technology at Wageningen University. Then I worked several years as an ICT consultant and manager in the food industry. Due to this background I am very familiar with business terminology in this sector.

The reason I switched to translation is that I wanted to work at home. I have always been very interested in languages, probably due to the fact that both my parents are language teachers. Also, thanks to them my Dutch is really excellent. I enjoy translating very much, especially when the text is related to food or one of my other specializations.
