Posibilităţile infanteriei uşoare, mecanizate sau a subunităţilor / unităţilor de vânători de munte sunt nepotrivite în operaţiunile de război informaţional (PSYOP, EW, de Inteligenţă, Operaţiuni speciale).
În operaţiile militare, altele decât cele de război, conform AJP 01 (A), sunt incluse, de asemenea şi operaţiunile de contrainsurgenţă (COIN), operaţiunile de menţinere a păcii, de sprijinire a păcii (PE), anti-gherilă, de control şi de securitate (C), lupta împotriva terorismului şi acţiunile umanitare.
Astfel, în operaţiunile de contrainsurgenţă, infanteria uşoară şi vânătorii de munte pot fi, de asemenea, folosite cu succes în cooperare cu unităţile mecanizate şi Forţele Speciale.
Din lecţiile învăţate, utilizarea corespunzătoare a subunităţilor mecanizate, de infanterie uşoară sau de vânători de munte în misiuni de menţinere sau sprijinire a păcii este evidentă.

The possibilities of the light infantry, mechanized or mountain corps subunits / units are inadequate in the informational warfare operations (PSYOP, EW, Intelligence, Special Operations)
In the military operations others than the war according to AJP 01 (A), the counterinsurgency (COIN) operations, peace keeping operations, peace enforcement operations (PE), anti-guerilla, control and security (C), terrorism fighting and humanitarian operations are also included.
Thus, in the counter insurgency operations, the light infantry and mountain corps can also be used successfully in cooperation with mechanized units and Special Forces.
From the lessons learned the suitable use of the mechanized subunits, of light infantry or mountain corps in the missions of keeping or enforcing the peace is obvious.
