I'am a professional freelance translator and proofreader/editor (nl) with a strong focus on details. My main areas of expertise are marketing, website/corporate content, journalism (e.g. press releases, reports, brochures), general business, advertising, general/corporate law (e.g. terms and conditions, company policies & procedures) and sports. I work with the CAT tools Trados 2009, Wordfast Professional or SDLX Lite to make sure the terminology in the target language is always consistent, also for repeat assignments. After spending the first 36 years of my life in the Netherlands I only live in Finland since 2008 so I have a complete understanding of the cultural backgrounds of my home country.
*The translations from Finnish into Dutch are done in cooperation with a Finnish partner.
