This device is for use by those trained in the use of ophthalmic surgical lasers, to include application and operation of the laser system. This would include wavelength information, e.g. tissue absorption, penetration, and destruction, pigmentation response, and other characteristics of the wavelength.
INDICATIONS FOR USE:
This device provides a means of delivering endophotocoagulation during vitrectomy surgery. Indications include, but are not limited to treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, retinal detachments, retinal tears, retinal holes, etc. This device transmits laser energy to target tissue, thereby causing photocoagulation. Spot size can be varied by altering the distance between the tissue and the probe tip.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• Re-sterilization of the product by the customer.
• Repair of damaged product by the customer.
• Use of this product if package integrity has been breached or compromised.
KNOWN COMPLICATION OF ENDOPHOTOCOAGULATION:
• Edema at the site of treatment
• Inflammation
• Choroidal detachment
• Infection
• Corneal burn
• Increased bleeding
Appearance of these complications is statistically rare. It is assumed that the user is adequately trained in the treatment of these known complications. Consult the manufacturer of your laser system for complete details of all potential complications associated with endophotocoagulation.

Ce produit est destiné à être utilisé par des personnes entraînées à manipuler des systèmes de lasers chirurgicaux oculaires, y compris les applications et l’utilisation du laser. INDICATIONS D’UTILISATION :
Ce produit est moyen de d’endophotocoagulation durant la vitrectomie. Les indications incluent mais sans y être limitées, traitement de la rétinopathie diabétique proliférante, prolifération vitréo-rétinienne, décollements de rétine, déchirures rétiniennes, trous rétiniens, etc. Cet appareil transmet l’énergie laser vers le tissu cible, causant ainsi la photocoagulation. La taille du spot peut être variée en modifiant la distance entre le tissu et l’extrémité de la sonde.
CONTRE INDICATIONS :
• Restérilisation par le client de ce produit.
• Réparation par le client d’un produit endommagé.
• L’utilisation de ce produit alors que l’intégrité de l’emballage est brisée ou compromise.
COMPLICATIONS CONNUES DE L’ENDOPHOTOCOAGULATION :
• Œdème au site de traitement,
• Inflammation,
• Décollement choroïdien,
• Infection,
• Brûlures cornéennes,
• Aggravation du saignement,
