I have extensive experience working professionally in Japanese in a variety of situations which has given me the ability to understand and interpret the language in context. Summary of professional experience
3 years working full time as an in house translator, interpreter, teacher and advisor at Yanagawa (Private) High School, Japan. I was responsible for all Japanese to English translations and proof reading in the ICC International Department. I also managed 6 classes of high school students and was the sub-homeroom teacher for all three years of the ICC Department. I provided interpreting to guests visiting the school, as well as at job interviews and public events in which the school was involved. I also was involved in translating and presenting a business plan to a major international company*. Many of my classes were taught almost entirely in Japanese, including high-level grammer classes.
