Source text - English In short, CKszekis (pronounced C-K see-kay) is Hong Kong's 2007 singing sensation. After graduating from university in New York City, she returned to her hometown, Hong Kong, to pursue a career in music. Her debut album, Perfect Disorder came out this February and has performed better than any other new talent thusfar this year. She comfortably held the top spot on HMV's Best-Selling Asian Album Chart for two consecutive weeks. Moreover, her album remained within top-10 for 6 weeks and within top-40 for 14 weeks - a testament to the appeal of her voice and the quality of the album production by Lau. Her first single, Unresolved, is a high-energy and fast-paced song that presents CK as a competent vocalist with a confident voice and a strong personality. Her second single, I Am the Last One to Know, is a ballad that offers a change of pace yet flatters her talent to deliver articulations of emotion. Her most recent single, Open Mouth, is another exemplification of her beautiful packaging and delivery of ballads. In addition to performing, CK is also deeply involved in music production. She directed and produced the music videos for Last One and Open Mouth, both of which were shot on location in New York City with help from a group of her film and design friends. She is currently working on a third MV. CK graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a bachelor's in Design and Technology. She has eagerly jumped into the production side of things, designing the packaging and booklet for her album as well as its promotional materials such as posters, calendar cards, and television commercials. In her formative, CK studied Italian opera, ballet, jazz, and even sang in the school choir.
