About me

I have over 10 years of professional experience as translator from Dutch, English and French into my mother tongue (Italian). I have spent several years in Belgium (Flanders and Brussels) and I currently reside in Italy.

Professional status
A freelance translator since 1995, when I moved to Belgium, I am operating now on behalf of my own company, Kreos Mediterranea srl, co-founded in 2004 with my partner Pieter De Windt. Kreos Mediterranea continues the activities of Kreos SA, which was established in 2000 by the same partners.

Why SAP?
My specialty is SAP for the simple reason that I started to work in this sector in 1999, first as a trainer, then as a functional consultant. Beside the technical proficiency in the field, I owe to my experience as SAP consultant my ability to perform in multicultural environments and my communication skills. The projects I have been involved with had always an international scope and brought about numerous integration and communication issues. And, last but not least, loads of project documentation to be translated and interpreting at meetings and workshops.

Availability and output
I estimate my daily average output between 1000 and 2500 words for a standard 8 hour working day, but these figures must be reduced according to my availablity, as I am currently working part-time. If necessary, however, I can manage my activities so as to be able to satisfy the customer's needs (I have no fixed time constraints).
