I translate with a pencil and paper.I do not rely on sophisticated translation softwares, such as Trados.My humble opinion is,if it is about translation,the over-riding importance is ensuring that the translation should be nothing less than clear and accurate,capturing the context, tone and nuances of the source text.The "feel" of the original text must be preserved,and this is only achievable if one has high proficiency in both tongues.
