I translate from Danish to German and vice versa. My areas of specialisation are marketing texts of various kinds, design, arts and crafts, fashion and clothing, human resources, law and contracts, business, economics, finances, tourism, IT and technical translations.

I have a university degree in commercial, legal and technical translation. Having graduated from the Aarhus School of Business (Handelshøjskolen i Århus, Denmark) in January 1988, I rounded off my educational background with a number of supplementary courses at the University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet, Kolding) in June 2000, thus achieving a BA in legal and technical translation.

I have 11 years' professional experience as an executive assistant with two different IT companies (software development/hardware distribution) and a road construction machine company.

Since 1999, I have been working independently as a freelance translator with an average workload of approx. 30,000 words/month. I am authorized by German courts (Oberlandesgericht Schleswig) to certify translations from Danish into German and from German into Danish.

I am an accredited member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators in Germany (BDÜ) and the Union of Communication and Language Professionals in Denmark (Forbundet Kommunikation og Sprog).
