En murmurant quelques excuses, Robert quitte la terrasse, Carole repart vers la cuisine, nous laissant en compagnie d’Aïssa. Nous en profitons pour lui poser quelques questions concernant son personnage de philosophe arabe et la manière dont il a abordé le rôle. Quelles recherches préalables a-t-il faites et quelle perception a-t-il d’Averroès aujourd’hui ? Comment a-t-il compris le choix de Pierre Debauche de prendre un acteur à peine trentenaire pour donner la réplique à Descartes et Socrate, joués par deux acteurs plus âgés ? Quel effet cela peut-il avoir, selon lui, sur la façon dont le public perçoit son personnage ? Visiblement heureux de relater son expérience, Aïssa poursuit sur la chanson qu’il interprète dans la pièce et qu’il a dû apprendre phonétiquement, puisqu’il ne parle pas Arabe.
