The information presented in this bulletin is intended as a guide to the chemical resistance of materials used in the manufacture of ... Valves.
Many factors which influence corrosion rating, such as temperature fluctuations, concentration and aeration of fluids, high velocity or abrasions in the fluid stream, have been taken into account. The physical properties of a material are affected differently by each corrosive media and it is sometimes necessary to sacrifice valves with one property to gain a maximum resistant valve with another property.
An “A” rating is associated with internal moving parts, in direct contact with the media. in some cases a “B” rating can be given to body material in direct contact with media if the corrosion rate is not such as to cause any serious problem.
Ratings are based on media at room temperatures unless otherwise specified. We advise that ratings given be used as a guide to the selection of valve materials and not as an absolute recommendation.
Although most of the suggested ratings in the corrosion data chart are based on experience, ... cannot accept responsibility for problems arising from use of this data. We do however recommend that in critical applications, tests will be conducted to verify the rating.

Korozyon derecesini etkileyen sıcaklık iniş çıkışı, sıvıların bir noktada toplanması, sıvıların hava ile temas etmesi, sıvı akımının hız derecesi ve sıvı akımındaki yıpranmalar gibi bir çok faktör dikkate alınmıştır. Maddenin fiziksel mahiyetleri, korozyona yol açan her unsurdan farklı biçimde etkilenmekterdir ve bazen en yüksek direnç seviyesini kazanmak için bir maddeden yapılmış olan vanaları başka bir madde ile değiştirmek üzere gözden çıkarmak gereklidir.
A derecesi, ortamla doğrudan temas halindeki, hareketli iç parçalarla ilgilidir. Bazı durumlarda ortamla direk temas halinde olan gövde maddelerine; eğer korozyon derecesi herhangi ciddi bir probleme yol açacak kadar yüksek değilse B derecelendirmesi verilebilir.
Ortam üzerindeki derecelendirmeler aksi belirtilmedikçe oda sıcaklıklarına dayanmaktadır. Verilen derecelerin kesin tavsiye olarak ele alınmasını değil çeşitli sübap maddeleri için rehber olarak kullanılmasını öneriyoruz.
Korozyon veri tablosunda önerilen derecelendirmelerin çoğu tecrübelere dayansada bu tablonun kullanımından doğacak problemler için sorumluluk kabul edemez. Ancak kritik işlemlerde bu derecelendirmeleri tasdik etmek üzere testlerin uygulanmasını öneriyoruz.

I have been working in the translation field for the last seven years and I am now working as a full-time Turkish Translator. I obtained a dual diploma in classical archaeology and teaching from the University of Istanbul in 2001 and I taught Turkish in the UK professionally in 2005 and 2008. In 2005, I wrote my own Turkish learning book for foreign learners, in English. I took DPSI (Diploma in Public Interpretation) exam in 2005 and in the same year I obtained a TEFL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certificate from ICAL. Although I had training and experience in teaching, I no longer offer this service and I am a full-time professional TRANSLATOR and INTERPRETER only. I have two latest technology desktop computers connected to fibre optic broadband and equipped with Windows Office and Trados. I have an extensive library of linguistic publications and publications related to my own language combination. For the last seven years as well as translating documents of different types and subjects, I have edited some documents and magazines also transcribed extensive volume of various recordings. Quality, speed and price are my my most important attributes. I never agree with taking on a project I cannot deliver. In my entire professional translation career, I have not even once failed a deadline. I am committed to professional development and I constantly strive to develop myself in different aspects of translation profession including learning about new technologies and developing my vocabulary and reading different publications about translation. I have been working for K-International and the Language Line on a regular basis since 2006. Examples of some recent work carried out:
