Modifícase el Cuadro de Atribución de Bandas de Frecuencias de la República Argentina en las bandas 902 928 MHz y 2400 2483,5 MHz.

VISTO el Expediente Nº 14.467/98 del registro de la COMISION NACIONAL DE COMUNICACIONES, y
CONSIDERANDO:
Que la Universidad Nacional de La Plata ha solicitado la protección contra interferencias de la zona comprendida entre las latitudes 34° 40’ S y 35° 50’ S y entre las longitudes 68° 30’ W y 69° 55’ W (provincia de Mendoza) en las bandas 902 928 MHz y 2400 2483,5 MHz para el Proyecto Pierre Auger.
Que el Poder Ejecutivo Nacional ha declarado a dicho Proyecto de Interés Nacional.
Que asimismo, tanto el Gobierno de la Provincia de Mendoza como la Honorable Cámara de Senadores de la Provincia de Mendoza y la Municipalidad de Malargüe han declarado el proyecto de Interés Provincial, Legislativo y Departamental, respectivamente.
Que las bandas mencionadas se encuentran atribuidas al servicio Fijo a título primario y a sistemas de Espectro Ensanchado a título secundario.

IN VIEW OF the Proceedings N° 14467/98 of the register of the National Communications Commission, and
WHEREAS:
The National University of La Plata has requested the protection against interferences from the area comprised between Latitudes 34° 40’ S and 35° 50’ S and between Longitudes 68° 30’ W and 69° 55’ W (province of Mendoza) in the 902 928 MHz and 2400 2483,5 MHz bands for the Pierre Auger Project.
The National Executive Power has declared said Project of National interest.
Likewise, the Government of the Province of Mendoza as well as The Honorable Chamber of Senators of the Province of Mendoza and the Municipality of Malargüe, respectively have declared the project of Provincial, Legislative and Departmental Interest.
The mentioned bands are allocated to the Fixed service under primary title and to (wideband) spread spectrum systems under secondary title.

CIRCUIT OPERATIONS

Tone Dial Circuit
Function:
The tone dialing circuit consists of a DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) signal generator (outputted from Pin 25 of the IC1) for tone dialing, and also a circuit for outputting the signal to line.
The DTMF circuit identifies inputs from the 12 keys (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, and #) by means of a total of seven frequencies, that is four low frequencies (Low group) and three high frequencies (High group).
Circuit Description:
When a dial key is pressed, a DTMF signal is output from Pin 25 of IC1 as an analog synthetic wave.
The signal flow to the line is as follows.
Pin 25 of IC1 Q3 R9 Q1 Tel Line.
The DTMF signal is sent to the line via the following path. Q3 is an amplifier which is used to output the signal to line.
Shown below is the signal flow used to output the DTMF signal from the handset as a monitor tone when a dial key is pressed.

Circuito de Discado por Tono
Función:
El circuito de discado/selección por tono consiste en un generador de señal DTMF (Tono Dual Multi Frecuencia) (emitida desde el Pin 25 de IC1) para selección de/discado por tono, y también un circuito para emitir la señal a la línea.
El circuito DTMF identifica entradas desde las 12 teclas (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, y #) por medio de un total de siete frecuencias, es decir, cuatro frecuencias bajas (Grupo Bajo) y tres frecuencias altas (Grupo Alto).
Descripción del Circuito:
Cuando se presiona una tecla de dial, una señal DTMF es emitida desde el Pin 25 de IC1 como una onda sintética analógica. El flujo de la señal a la línea es como se ve a continuación.

La señal DTMF es enviada a la línea a través del siguiente circuito. Q3 es un amplificador que se usa para emitir la señal a la línea.

TREAD Act Requirements in the USA

Dear Sir,
On November 1, 2000, the TREAD Act entered into force in the USA. The Act, together with numerous regulations that have been published in the interim, is intended to give the US highway safety authority (NHTSA) prompt information about potential safety problems related to motor vehicles as well as vehicle
parts and accessories. With this letter, we wish to inform you briefly about the reporting obligations of vehicle manufacturers (Section 1 of this letter) as well as those of original and replacement equipment manufacturers (Section II). In addition we wish to conclude an basic agreement with you regarding our
business relationship that will take account of the TREAD requirements and request that you return a signed copy of this letter to us (Section III).
1. Reporting obligations of automobile manufacturers in the USA
All recall and other safety campaigns must be reported, that a manufacturer of motor vehicles or original / replacement motor vehicle equipment conducts anywhere in the world on identical or substantially similar products (as defined) based on its own decision or the determination by a govern mental authority.
In addition, manufacturers of automobiles will be required to submit quarterly reports with a wide range of statistical information regarding the:
- number of vehicles produced for / imported into the US market.

La Ley TREAD entró en vigor en EEUU el 1 de noviembre de 2000. La Ley, junto con numerosas regulaciones que se han publicado en el ínterin, intenta brindar a la autoridad de seguridad en autopistas de EEUU (NHTSA) pronta notificación sobre potenciales problemas de seguridad relacionados con vehículos automotores así como también con las partes y accesorios de los vehículos. Con esta carta, deseamos notificarle brevemente sobre las obligaciones de notificación de los fabricantes de vehículos (Sección I de esta carta) así como las de los fabricantes de equipamiento original y de reemplazo (Sección II). Además deseamos concertar un acuerdo básico con UD respecto de nuestra relación comercial que tomará en consideración las requerimientos del TREAD y solicitarle que nos devuelva una copia firmada de esta carta (Sección III).
1. Obligación de notificar de fabricantes de automotores en EEUU
Se deben notificar todas las campañas de retiro o de seguridad que un fabricante de vehículos automotores o de equipos originales / de reemplazo de vehículos automotores realiza en cualquier lugar del mundo en productos idénticos o substancialmente similares (según se defina) basados en su propia decisión o en la determinación de una autoridad gubernamental.
Además, se requerirá a los fabricantes de automóviles, remitir notificaciones trimestrales con una amplia gama de notificación estadística con respecto a:
- Cantidad de vehículos producidos para / importados para el mercado de EE.UU.
