I have graduated from a linguistics-oriented faculty but I was trained "on the job" in the specialised terminology of steel making technology and technical maintenance.
Due to the industrial orientation of my activity I had the opportunity to go “on site”, to visit and observe installations, equipments and production processes, discuss with engineers specialised in mechanical engineering, metallurgical technology, maintenance methodology. All these circumstances contributed to the enhancement of my understanding in the technical field and allowed me to provide a better quality during my interpretation/ translation activities.
My travelling, both for leisure and office-related activities, lead to the increase of my language and culture knowledge, helped intensify my communication skills and my human interaction abilities.
Through the interpretations/ translations performed as a freelanced agent I had the possibility to expand my interest, knowledge and understanding of other specializations as well, such as: household appliances, medical (pharmaceutical), law, environment and ecology, journalism.
After 5 years of experience working only as a translator/interpreter I am deeply committed to provide the best quality of services to my clients, in the agreed time interval.
I am always interested in learning and extending my knowledge because I believe the most appealing characteristic of a person is his/her native inquisitiveness and the constant desire to evolve.
