I was born in Finland, but I moved to Sweden when I was 5 years old. Since then I have been living in Sweden in a Finnish/Swedish/English environment.
After finishing Swedish elementary school at 16, I started working as a dressmaker. A few years later I went to school again. This time I got an education as a correspondent.
Since then I have been working as a secretary, receptionist, office clerk, sales- and marketing assistant, financial assistant, to name a few positions (branches: telephone-, electronic-, steel-, medical equipment, patent, hotel), until I went to school again.
This time I went to senior high school to get points to get in to university. After 2 ½ years I went to study at the University of Stockholm, Law School, where I studied law for 4 years. When I ran out of money I had to quit without graduating. I still have to conduct examinations in Tax Law and Business Economics Law (some day..).
All through the years I have taken classes in English with very good results, and German. And in every employment I have had, English, Finnish and Swedish languages have been company languages.
I started my own business 2002 as a freelance translator, proof reader and transcriber. |
