About me

I am a native speaker of both Italian and Spanish. I was born in Italy but my mother is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been raised speaking Spanish, Italian off course, and learning Argentinian culture.

For some reason I fell in love with Brasilian music and started to get really curious about Brasil. My interest brought me to study Brasilian Portuguese and literature at the University of Bologna -Italy and to have a deep knowledge of it. I shared my deep love for Portuguese with the one for Anglo-American language and culture, my second language at the University.
For my graduation thesis I've been to Brasil to search for documentation in Universities, Cultural Foundations getting in touch thus with professors and intellectuals involved in culture who helped me improve my knowledge.

I have travelled a lot in order to improve languages and to have job experieces abroad. That's why, a few years after graduating, I've been living in Brasil for a short while where I've worked in the Italian Embassy. There I had the chance to meet people from Brasil asking for documents or italian courses and where I could translate form portuguese to italian several documents.

As you can see my job experience is quite varied: I've been working in translation from English to Italian and from Portuguese to Italian since I left University subtitling Brasilian films and English documentaries, technical documentation, mostly oil and gas industry and mechanical ISO9001 manuals; I had experience as a translator, proofreading and editing in a publishing house in Italy.

My family owns a business ISO9001 certified in the mechanical industry and since I was a kid I helped during certain periods of time, that gave me both knowledge and experience in the management, marketing and mechanical fields.

I gather both literary and technical kwnoledge in my job as a translator together with accuracy and precision.
