The three volume report is the third of three major economic oriented reports issued by the World Bank expert economists assigned to the World Bank Country Office in Yemen. The Third Volume is a highly technical description of the models and economic equations and models used to arrive to the quantitative aspects of the report. The other two reports, also previously translated from English into Arabic by the same translator are: "Integrated Trade in Yemen" and the "Sources, Constraints and Promises (Prospects) of Economic Growth in Yemen". All were printed publications of the World Bank and are accesible from the World Bank website. The task manager of all three efforts is Dr. Nadir Mohammed, a distinguished economist of the World Bank, who is now Country Manager for Albania.

The book entalis the 50 year memoirs of Mr. Mohsin Al-Ainy, one of Yemen's leading politicians, who was very active in the pre-revolutionary era against the despotic monarchy and who actively participated in the post revolutionary period (1962 onwards) becoming Prime Minister on two occasions. Very interesting insight into the metamorphosis of "revolutionary regimes" in Third World countries, with good details on conversations between major players in the Middle East regional scene, including many of the Arab leaders (President Nasser of Egypt, King Faisal of Saudi Arabia and others). Gives important highlights of events in the region during the last half of the Twentieth Century.
