I am a freelance English&Dutch to French translator specializing in the Graphic Arts industry. Self-employed professional since 1988, I created Hendiadys sprl in 2001.
My customers appreciate my work for adding smooth writing skills to a thorough technical understanding of the subject matter.
Beside translation agencies (localization, user guides, mainly technical documents), I serve customers in two fields:
* Since 2001, I am the preferred French translator of an well-known PR agency in the Graphic Arts industry (mostly press releases, but also marketing collaterals, adds, brochures, flyers, case studies, testimonials, e-newsletters, data sheets, (e-)mailers, letters,...)
* I am also pleased to frequently translate press stories and background articles for a leading Dutch-French trade magazine in the Graphic Arts field (sample translations can be read on line on request). I also collaborated for about ten years with other trade magazines in the ICT and industrial sectors.
I own a BA in Germanic languages from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) and a MA in translation from the Ecole d’interprètes internationaux (EII) in Mons.
