Part 3: Criteria for the Examination of Identical Trademarks
1. Identical Word Marks
Identical word marks refer to same language trademarks in which the order and all of the elements of the words are completely identical, thereby misleading the relevant public on the confirmed source of the goods or services. When two similar trademarks display only a slight difference in font, the case or size of letters, and/or horizontal or vertical arrangement of the words, they will be deemed as identical trademarks.
2. Identical Design Marks
Identical design marks refer to trademarks in which the foundations of visual properties display no difference in their design, thereby misleading the relevant public on the confirmed source of the goods or services.
3. Identical Combined Marks
Identical combined marks refer to trademarks in which the word composition, the outward appearance of the design, and their combined style is identical, thus, constituting no difference in the foundation of the trademarks pronunciation and overall visual appearance, thereby misleading the relevant public on the confirmed source of the goods or services

Photography is the most important part of Liu Shan’s art collection. The collector’s adoration toward this artistic medium originates from past photographic memories. Thus, photography continues to live up to the enhancement of Liu Shan’s understanding this category of art. Regardless of the fact that pressing the shutter only captures a twinkling of the eye, everyone regards the boundaries of its methods different in every possible way. When appreciating great works of photography, one needs to observe the influence between the two-dimensional space and what was originally three-dimensional. Treating photography in this manner, and trying to fathom and deeply think about the shared process of the feelings of the original moment is the most important motive force, and that which drives the collection of Liu Shan.
Before our eyes, Liu Shan’s collection of photography unfolds the work of every world famous master of photography, including Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau, Man Ray, Robert Frank, William Klein, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Arakino Buyoshi to name a few.
