I have experience in a range of technical texts with subjects including automotive, renewables, construction, as well as business, financial, tourism and general texts.

I have a BA(Hons) Spanish from the University of Hull and an MA in Translation at the University of Surrey where I achieved distinction. I have had training in the area of Spanish business, passing the Camera de Comercio exam in 2003, and have studied technical and economic translation throughout my MA. I worked for one year in-house as a proof reader/terminologist for a translation company and have been freelancing ever since. I currently also work as a P/T tutor (Spanish to English Scientific and Technical translation) for the MA in Translation at the University of Surrey and for the final year undergraduate Applied Translation module.
