I am a fifth-year student of English at the University of Oulu, Finland. I have a BA degree with English philology as my major subject and currently I am pursuing my Master's degree. My minor subjects include marketing, international business, communications, technical communication, and courses on the culture of the Anglophone world. I have obtained 20 ECTS-points in translation (English-Finnish-English). My studies have provided me with a excellent competence in English

I have some experience in working as a part-time translator: I have worked for example for the University of Oulu translating articles for a magazine, some websites, along with a few text related to scientific or educational issues. I have also translated a travel guide book from English to Finnish (to be published this summer).
