My name is María Julia Raverta. I am a Sworn Translator graduated from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. My training includes scientific/technical, and legal/business translations. I have also specialized in creative, marketing materials as well as Spanish copywriting.
As an under-graduate student, I was awarded a university grant that enabled me to put into practice my training: I held a position as a Research Assistant where I translated and edited scientific books and articles for International Journals. Since then, I have been engaged as a translator in research groups whose purpose is to conduct investigations on some social issues and medical issues.
For the last 3 years, I have worked as a senior translator and editor for a U.S. translation agency. Thanks to this experience, I got to know the demands of this industry not only in terms of quality but also regarding turnaround times.
I provide efficient, detailed-oriented linguistic services even under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
