About me
Areas of Specialty:
> Marketing, Advertising
> IT, Computers, Websites
> Media, Journalism, Publishing
> Architecture, Construction, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Urban Planning & Infrastructure

Architectural history and urban infrastructure are my primary focus and the subject of technical articles that I have published in both English and German. I also enjoy translating in the fields of marketing and publishing, which I have been working in for more than 20 years. I place great value on providing readable and engaging translations while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

Work History:
I started as a freelance translator for clients in the entertainment industry before becoming a staff translator at the New York office of a German magazine publisher. During my long-term employment there, I acquired valuable insights into the business of media and marketing. Since 2003, I have been a full-time freelancer, increasingly expanding my work into the construction, engineering and IT sectors. I have also translated several books, most recently in the areas of marketing, fitness, history and tunnel driving/geotechnical engineering.
