I am Brazilian and have been a language lover since I was a child. I became an American resident in 2004 when I married the love of my life, and have been working with translations since then.
My academic background is in Applied Linguistics (PhD, 2002 and MA, 1996) and also Social Sciences (BA, 1982). I worked as a professor at COGEAE PUC SP for over 6 years.
I like translating, mainly texts that involve some sort of interesting subject, but I learned a lot about boats and ships with my husband and friends, so I'm in for technical translations in the maritime field as well.
