Le rayon Laser Diode :
-Le système laser à diodes LightSheer™ émet de la lumière infrarouge pulsée utilisée pour l’épilation.
-Le principe thérapeutique de base de l’action du système laser à diodes LighSheer est la photothermolyse sélective. Pour effectuer l’épilation, la lumière d’onde 800 nanomètres pénètre profondément dans le derme jusqu’au point où l’énergie optique est absorbée sélectivement par la mélanine présente dans le poil, ce qui cause un échauffement rapide de la tige du poil et du follicule qui détruit le follicule. La durée des impulsions laser est suffisamment longue pour détruire le follicule pileux mais assez courte pour limiter le transfert thermique aux tissus environnants. En refroidissant la peau par conduction, l’embout refroidi de la pièce à main augmente la fluence tolérée, assure une anesthésie partielle et réduit l’élévation de température dans l’épiderme riche en mélanine.
-L’intégration d’un refroidisseur pour l’épiderme (abaisse la température de la peau à 5 degrés Celsius) permet le traitement des patients avec confiance dans un cadre confortable.
-Lors de l’utilisation normale, la pièce à main est appuyée contre la peau du patient et une impulsion lumineuse est émise lorsqu’on appuie sur le commutateur à pédale et la gâchette de pièce à main.
-le saphir sur la pièce à main mesure 9 mm2 .
-Toujours enfiler la dragonne pour saisir la pièce à main.
-Mise en marche et étalonnage de l’appareil
-Nettoyage de la lentille avec un tampon d’alcool ou une solution de Virex (dans les cas d’herpès buccal ou génital) entre chaque clients.

The Diode Laser :
-The LightSheer™ Diode Laser system removes hair by emitting pulsed infrared light.
-The basic therapeutic principle of the LightSheer Diode Laser system is selective photothermolysis. It removes hair by deeply penetrating the epidermis with 800 nm (nanometers) wavelength light, where the laser energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in the hair, causing a rapid heating of the hair stem and follicle, and resulting in the destruction of the follicle. The duration of the laser pulse is long enough to destroy the hair follicle but short enough to limit heat transfer to the surrounding tissue. Cooling the skin by conduction, the ChillTip handpiece increases fluence tolerance, provides a partial anesthetic effect, and reduces temperature increase in the melanin-rich epidermis.
-The integration of a coolant for the epidermis (lowering the temperature of the skin to 5 degrees Celsius) makes it possible to confidently treat patients without any fear of discomfort.
-In normal use, the handpiece is pressed against the patient’s skin and a pulse of light is emitted when the operator presses on the foot pedal and the handpiece trigger.
-The sapphire in the handpiece is 9mm².
-Always use the wrist-strap when using the handpiece.
-Activate and calibrate the equipment.
-Clean the cooling tip with an alcohol swab or a Virex solution (in the case of oral or genital herpes) between each patient.

-Some patients require more hair-removal sessions then initially expected.
