I have experience working as a translator, proofreader and copy editor for both authors and publishers. I have translated scholarly articles, and copyedited scholarly books, articles, dissertations, travel guidebooks, and screenplays.

One of my specialties is revising the English text of authors for whom English is a second language. I will find the idiomatic English expressions that will convey your ideas with the greatest clarity and precision. Also, I am comfortable editing academic texts with multi-lingual bibliography, including Spanish, French, Italian, Latin, and ancient Greek.

Some of the subject areas in which I have a background are geography, historical geography, cartography, mathematics, wetlands ecology, medieval manuscript studies, and literature, particularly classical Greek and Roman literature, and also English Renaissance and Reformation literature.
