Specializing in software localization, economics, tourism and travel, airline business, literature (prose)


I'm a native Russian, but for some good number of years I stayed abroad, in the Anglophone African country - Uganda. Though I was initially trained as an economist, I always had passion for English literature and language and now successfully combine both, my training and passion, in being a freelance translator.
In Uganda I was employed as a fulltime translator and documentation specialist in the micro-finance software development company - Crystal Clear Software Ltd. My duties involved localization of the application, translation of company website, creation and translation of all end-user documentation (Training Manuals, User Manuals) and interactive Help file as well as daily support of Russian version users.
At this moment I’m back in Russia as a fully fledged freelancer and I continue with localization of the software for the Ugandan company on contract basis and work with other clients.
I'm well versed in micro-finance and IT terminology, capable of translating (and creating) all kinds of marketing materials, got extensive work experience in the tourism field and airline business (please refer to my CV).
