About me

I specialize in translating texts regarding information technology, mechanical machinery and software localization. I also have extensive translation experience within the area of banking and finance (periodical reports).

Below you'll find some information about my background that is relevant to the work I do:
  • University degree (7 yrs) from the University of Oslo, German, English and Philosophy
  • Extensive training in IT and electronics
  • Full time translator since August 2000
  • Regular work for a high end translation agency in Oslo, Norway
  • My own regular clients include major PC manufacturers, IT service providers, mobile communications companies, newspapers, suppliers of technical equipment, suppliers of paper and office equipment, etc.
  • I have completed large scale projects involving technical manuals for trams, tractors and other agricultural equipment, as well as other types of machinery
  • In 2001 I translated more than 100,000 words of financial content
