There is a loneliness that can be rocked. Arms crossed, knees drawn up; holding, holding on, this motion, unlike a ship's, smoothes and contains the rocker. Everybody knew what she was called, but nobody anywhere knew her name. Disremembered and unaccounted for, she cannot be lost because no one is looking for her, and even if they were, how can they call her if they don't know her name? Although she has claim, she is not claimed.
It was not a story to pass on.
They forgot her like a bad dream. After they made up their tales, shaped and decorated them, those that saw her that day on the porch quickly and deliberately forgot her. It took longer for those who had spoken to her, lived with her, fallen in love with her, to forget, until they realized they couldn't remember or repeat a single thing she said, and began to believe that, other than what they themselves were thinking, she hadn't said anything at all. So, in the end, they forgot her too. Remembering seemed unwise. They never knew where or why she crouched, or whose was the underwater face she needed like that. Where the memory of the smile under her chin might have been and was not, a latch latched and lichen attached its apple-green bloom to the metal. What made her think her fingernails could open locks the rain rained on?
It was not a story to pass on.
So they forgot her. Like an unpleasant dream during a troubling sleep. Occasionally, however, the rustle of a skirt hushes when they wake, and the knuckles brushing a cheek in sleep seem to belong to the sleeper. Sometimes the photograph of a close friend or relative – looked at too long – shifts, and something more familiar than the dear face itself moves there. They can touch it if they like, but don’t, because they know things will never be the same if they do.
This is not a story to pass on.
Down by the stream in the back of 124 her footprints come and go, come and go. They are so familiar. Should a child, an adult place his feet in them, they will fit. Take them out and they disappear again as though nobody ever walked there. By and by all trace is gone, and what is forgotten is not only the footprints but the water too and what it is down there. The rest is weather. Not the breath of the disremembered and unaccounted for, but the wind in the eaves, or the spring ice thawing too quickly. Just weather. Certainly no clamor for kiss.

Burimet dhe mënyrat e shpërndarjes së energjisë në serrë
Nafta, solari dhe gazi natyror janë lëndët më të përhapura për sigurimin e energjisë në serrë. Energjia elektrike nuk justifikon anën ekonomike. Ngrohja e serrave realizohet me anë të instalimit të sistemeve qendrore ose individuale të ngrohjes.
Sistemet qendrore të ngrohjes gjenerojnë energji nëpërmjet një kaldaje me përmasa të mëdha dhe e shpërndajnë atë në një numër të caktuar serrash, ndërkohë që në sistemet individuale çdo serrë ka burimin e vet të energjisë. Zgjedhja e këtyre opsioneve është në varësi të përmasave të ekonomisë. Shpërndarja e energjisë në serrë mund të realizohet në mënyra të ndryshme por më kryesore janë nëpërmjet ujit të nxehtë dhe ajrit të nxehtë.

Sources and distribution methods of energy in the greenhouse
Oil, fuel oil and natural gas are the most common sources for energy provision in the greenhouse. Electricity is not economically competitive. Greenhouse heating is done through central or individual installation of heating systems.
Central heating systems generate energy through a large boiler, and distribute the energy in a set number of greenhouses, whereas, for individual systems, every greenhouse has its own source of energy. Choosing between these options depends on economic expansion.
Energy distribution in a greenhouse can be done in a number of different ways, but the main ones use hot water and hot air.
The use of systems that circulate hot water is quite common and very efficient. Here the water is heated in the boiler’s container and is then pumped into a closed system of pipes. The energy conducted by the heated pipes increases the room temperature around them and throughout the greenhouse. The main advantage of this heating method is the system's evenly satisfactory consistence of the energy’s distribution and also the maintaining of the temperature in the greenhouse for a certain time length in case of faults. This is made possible by the high thermal capacity of the water contained in the network of pipes or in the boiler’s container. The investment will incur a high cost. To lower the cost, the metal pipes have been replaced by corrugated polyethylene pipes, which are laid along the array lengths and can be moved whenever mechanical works are being carried out in the greenhouse. Systems consisting of plastic pipes have a limited heating capacity. Temperatures cannot exceed 60 degree C.
Hot air systems
Fuel energy is transmitted to a thermal exchanger consisting of a large number of thin metal sheets. The cold air is blown directly into a fan and, when passing through the hot metal sheets, increases its own temperature. Distribution of the hot air throughout the greenhouse is done through the fan or the polyethylene pipes. The hot air is distributed through the holes in the perforated pipes. The cost is lower than that of hot water systems. Their main limitations are: uneven distribution of energy in the greenhouse and fast loss of energy in case of faults.
Passive heating
Solar energy is accumulated during the day in special water reservoirs and is gradually released through plastic water-filled pipes. This has also been trialled in Albania. The accumulated energy has been in considerable amounts. The temperatures increases by 2 – 4 degree C compared to greenhouses where this method has not been implemented. This enables sowing and cropping with a 2-week-faster turnaround. In a greenhouse of a surface of 1000m², between 15th January and 31st of March, 90 million Kcal can be saved, which equals the consumption of 11 thousand litres of oil.
Summary
The heating system is one of the crucial keys to the greenhouse upkeep as well as its costs.
