Native speaker of U.S. English with a Master's degree in French literature and language pedagogy.

Objective
French > English translations of business and legal documents. Also available for translation
of documents from a wide variety of other areas of interest, such as education, food and wine,
religion, video games, novels, and consumer technology.

Language Experience
Started learning French while an undergraduate at the University of Utah, where I earned both my Bachelors and Master's degrees in French. Extensive travel and Study in France include a study abroad at L'Institut de Touraine, an internship in Marseille, and studies at La Faculte de Theologie Reformee in Aix-en-Provence. Although I currently live in the U.S., French is the primary language spoken in my home.

Work and Translation Experience
After three years of in-house work as a bilingual French-English customer service representative in the banking industry I am am now branching out on my own to offer translation services. I recently translated a series of interviews on the French immersion program in Louisiana for a client's doctoral dissertation, and I am currently enrolled in an online translation course. In addition to this I work part-time as an adjunct French professor at a local community college.
