I have worked as lecturer in chemistry for 7 years. Before that I worked on my Ph.D. in chemistry. During that time I translated, edited and proofread several chemical articles, research papers and teaching materials. I also wrote several own chemical articles, published in international journals (in English, list available on request). My main translation area is chemistry, but due to my Ph.D. in computational chemistry also in physics, maths and IT. Apart from that, I specialise in medical transations, web page localisation, manuals, teaching materials and research articles. I polished my English through reading/writing research papers and chemistry books during my work at the University (most of literature is in English), active attendance in numerous international conferences (official language - English) as well as several international collaborations. I currently live in the UK and I am married to the British citizen so English is my everyday language. My husband also proofreads for me to ensure the translation is accurate.
I have recently started an MBA (Open University,UK) and hence I am constantly improving my knowledge and vocabulary in the Business/Management field.
