I am a native Japanese translator, specialized in the fields of corporate finance/accounting/auditing, legal/contracts and other business-related subjects.

In the past 10 years as a freelancer, I have translated various contracts, financial statements/annual reports, audit reports, lawsuit-related documents & communication, memorandums of associations, minutes, accounting procedures/rules, and other business-related documents/articles/communication, etc.

In addition to the above, I have also enjoyed translating some other documents, such as a comparison of different educational systems, various old letters and articles for an author who was writing a book about a Swiss national, etc.

Prior Career:
1996-1999: Assistant to at a tax advisers' office in Germany
1988-1992: Worked as a cost analyst/ profit & cash forecaster at a U.S. multinational manufacturer (at the Japanese subsidiary & also at the U.S. headquarters).
