I'm a full-time freelance translator and interpreter from English to Italian and from Italian into English, specialising in medicine, pharmacology and market research.
I have been working as a freelance translator/proofreader since 1992. My experience started in Italy where I was an in house translator and interpreter for a prestigious private American Hospital. Since 1995 I have been a freelancer translator and interpreter in the UK where I specialized in criminal law and police related matters. I am an official Police and Court interpreter/translator and I have worked as translator and language consultant for the Department of Work and Pension and for the National Health Service for over a decade.
Through the years I have gained invaluable experience in various fields: medicine and pharmacology (my clients include pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and market research companies), aviation (flying schools, light aircraft maintenance companies), legal matters (I regularly work for Sussex Police, Crown and Magistrate Courts and the Department of Work and Pensions in the UK).
