I have extensive Translator and Interpreter experience having worked for Activision for 11 years and Disney Interactive for four. In these companies, among other duties, I was responsible for the localization of Italian products, which included technical text and first party terminology and requirements, client relations, subtitles, voiceovers, box art and text, supporting documentation (i.e. Manual, Help doc, special inserts, etc.), legal documentation (i.e. Contracts, EULA, Trade Marks, etc.) and Financial (i.e. Budget, P&L, AOP, etc.).
At Activision we also developed our own Online Translation System whereby the translator logged in and performed the localization work. We named it XLoc.
