I have more than ten years of experience with translating letters and documents, I have also translated articles about travel and tourism, marketing, financial, business and also articles on clothing, textiles and fashion.
I started my translation career in 1992 when I worked for a local company in Italy that sold furniture to the U.S and also to the U.K, I translated letters and documents from Italian to English and vice-versa. I also did some interpreting work when it was needed.
Also from my home,I taught a number of adults, students and also some children the English language by private tuition on a weekly basis . I worked there for eight years then in 1998 I moved back here to the U.K and ever since I have been working as a freelance translator.
MY PHILOSOPHY>size-2> is that the aim of a translation is to bridge the linguistic and culture gap between two worlds and to bring two people closer together. I think that It is a translators duty to produce a copy that recreates the original author`s meanings therefore the thoughts and also the intentions and it should also produce the same reaction to the reader as the source text does.
