I'm a bilingual American; my second language is German (*Deutschamerikanerin*). I've lived in Germany forever and am bilingual. The greatest amount of experience I have is in the pharmaceutical and medical area (particularly simultaneous translation while transcribing) - these are my best translations, but my financial and legal translations are pretty good, too; the first major translation I ever did was a software program (MOSES) for IABG, a subsidiary of MBB at the time; I think that the best work I do is translating movies (scripts, subtitles); my favourite work includes translations in the field of jewelry making and cooking; I would like to translate literature more often; my last project was translating Schoenberg texts.
