Education and Experience:
I am well educated in Japanese, English and Portuguese. I have 4-year BA degree in culture and language specialized in Portuguese studies (Osaka University of Foreign Studies). I'm a qualified teacher of Japanese language and culture (Post-graduate diploma, awarded in London), which evidences that I can analyse my own mother tongue from different angles too. Teaching experience also helps a lot in translation. I worked as translator in an internationally well-known real estate firm, where my main tranlation was appraisal/valuation reports and market views from Japanese to English. I have experiences in interpreting (Japanese-Portuguese) in the natural birth and baby/child and maternity care programme.

About work:
I have an excellent command of all three languages stated above, and good analysis as approach to documents. My principle in translation is to focus on natural/fluent and correct language and pay attention to slight difference in meanings. Dictionaries give us a list of words, but analizing the original sense and applying the best describing translation is far more important. Each language works differently. It means direct translation is not always the best solution. I try my best to produce documents with the highest quality possible.

I am very sensitive to details in language. I believe languages have much more power than we usually think. Careless translation (such as lack of attention to each word) could end up producing different meanings. My current interest is forensic linguistics and I am trying to give myself some training. Never stop learning and never stop improving are basic attitude to languages.

I work also as interpreter. My recent work (at FIVB Championship) was very successful and gained 100% trust from the team I was responsible for. My hard-working was recognised and rewarded.

As per description above, I'm very hard-working, careful and sensitive in details, punctual, professional and yet modest to learn.
I offer very competitive rates for the best quality service. I'm very flexible and respectful about any issues such as rates and payment day. I deliver the work on time. I assure you I'm trust worthy. Please do not hesitate to consult any issues or qustions prior to outsourcing the work. I will be happy to negotiate for massive contribution.

If the project you offer is urgent, please feel free to ring me. Otherwise I always check my email.

Thank you very much.
